If you have a pet in your house, then you likely spend a lot of time looking for ways to remove pet hair from your furniture. Having a dog in the home can result in a lot of dog hair on the furniture due to shedding.

Pet hair covering your furniture can be bad for people who suffer from pet allergy issues, and even those who are suffering from asthma. However there simple are ways to remove pet hair from your furniture.

Ways to Remove Pet Hair from Furniture

The quickest and the easiest way to remove pet hair from your sofa is to gradually roll a lint roller over the area where pet hairs are present. Doing this two to three times will give you the result you are waiting for.

Using the sticky side of tape, you get a similar but more time consuming lint roller technique. This technique involves using a tape which is few inches long and covers the area affected and then un-stick the tape which will simply remove the pet hair.

Of course, using a very good vacuum cleaner designed for pet hair is the most efficient way to remove dog hair from furniture. A good quality pet vacuum cleaner is the solution to all your cleaning problems. A vacuum cleaner with a highly power generated HEPA system will enable you to suck out every pet hair from your furniture which also comes with attachments that can go to the smallest corners of your furniture.

A more time consuming and a difficult method is to use a hair brush to clean out pet hair from furniture. If done properly and on regular basis, it will lead to better results. This technique is the cheapest of all your options.

If you are fond of Febreeze and lavender, then you can mist your furniture and then rub your gloved hands on the sofa. As you do this, the pet hair will eventually stick to your hand for easy removal. As you collect all the wet hair, just place it in a plastic bag for easy disposal.

By following these tips, you can easily remove any pet hair that accumulates on your indoor furniture.
